Mike is a well known figure in Port Coquitlam and was the founding president for PoCo Sport.  A lifetime local resident, he has over 35 years experience in operating retail sport businesses.  He served as an elected official on city council over 8 years and chaired every major committee.  Additionally Mike spent 16 years as an executive member of the Catholic School Education Committees.  He is also an advisor for the Port Coquitlam Healthy Communities Committee.

 

Mike has 25 years of coaching experience in minor sport through ice hockey, baseball, and softball.  He is a former player in the PoCo Oldtimers Hockey league, for PoCo Mens Baseball, and PoCo Mens Fastball.
