Raised in Port Coquitlam where she began her of cross-country running at Mary Hill Middle School. Her career extended in through university that carried on after to leading her to be named the 1996 & 1997 BC Cross-country runner of the year.
Tina reached the elite international levels of competition earning a Bronze medal in the 10,000 meter race at 1999 Pan American Games and placed 37th at 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
Tina is also part of the inaugural Port Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
